Walking Wonders

One of the drawbacks of walking through the fields is the awful smell of burning. I don't know
what they burn, perhaps the dead plants they've pulled out, or weeds, but it's awful and a common occurance these days, as it's big time planting/harvesting season. So today during our walk, I started holding my nose and saying "pe-yew" (ok, I have NO idea how to spell that word correctly and I even tried looking it up!) and Ashlyn thought that was hysterical so she started doing it too.

Trains have become a favorite spotting as well. She loves when they go whizzing by and gets so excited. Even in the car, when I'm stopped, waiting for one to pass, she sees it in her mirror and exclaims "train!" only
her version of it sounds something like "tu".
