Enjoying the neighborhood's beauty

While strolling through the neighborhood, I just couldn't resist stopping for some photos next to all the pretty flowers. Ashlyn wasn't quite as enthused, but she did enjoy exploring the new surroundings, including the rocks and a few petals she tried to eat.

8 months

My little baby girl is 8 months old!! We had our Japanese friends over for dinner tonight and they showed us how to make these hats, in honor of the kids' day festival coming in a week. Cute!

She was in a really weird mood the other night so I got out the camera to document. Where did she learn that fake cough and ugly face? Not a fan.

Cruisin' through Yokohama Bay

We went on a "tea" cruise through Yokohama Bay, just south of Tokyo (we got to drink tea and eat sweets). Ashlyn got a great view of the water, as well as a special little balloon panda bear. 

Johnson Grandparents Visit

What a busy, fun-filled trip it has been so far. We have been to Tokyo, Kamakura, Kyoto, and finally, our house. Ashlyn is being spoiled rotten with all the grandparents doting on her the last few weeks - but that's what they're for, right?
