Thanksgiving Fingerpainting

Making fingerprint turkeys for the grandparents - a messy, totally fun art project, followed by freeform painting (and yes, that's a small handprint on the wall, which she was quick to tell me was "naughty")

Dance Class

We were working on "balance" this day, so when the music stopped, we were supposed to balance on one foot.

Family Photos

It's rare we get photos of all 3 of us - another reason it's nice to have visitors!

(this one was just too cute to not post)

On The Go

Auntie Laura just spent a whirlwind week with us out here in the great NW. We tried to get out and do as much as possible, and she was able to capture Ashlyn during most of those moments (the ones that happen all the time in our daily life that I always wish later I had taken pictures of; that's just one of the reasons why it's so great to have visitors - to record those every day activities!)

all bundled up for a walk with the pups

another walk - looking a bit like Maxine (the greeting card lady)

Halloween

"Ribbit, ribbit" says the frog

at the Harvest party at church (with mom above and Raely the chicken below)
the "mimi pumpkin" that we have been walking past the last few weeks, all lit up

Her very first ever trick-or-treating house; not such a fan, even though she was with friends (she even tried to walk into their house and stay!)

Hooray, trick-or-treating is over!

Counting

Ashlyn was counting her vitamins this morning and counted all the way to 13 by herself (there were actually only 4 vitamins on her tray, but that's besides the point)!
