In an effort to encourage more sleeping and satisfy an ever-expanding appetite, it was time to start Brenden on solid foods. He had tried some rice cereal earlier, but this was his first real food - avocado!
He wasn't so sure he liked it:
(after a few tries, he actually learned to like the taste of this "real food" thing and it was neat to watch him learn how to eat and open his mouth when the spoon came near and how to swallow the food)
He also decided that he was done nursing, so he now receives mommy's milk from a bottle, which proved to be a fun bonding activity for daddy and sister
