On a dreary spring day, we said goodbye to Atsugi, boarded the bus, and headed for the airport. A sad day for us as we were leaving a country we had started to call home and have nothing but fond memories of, but we were also full of excitement for our journey back to Washington to start yet another chapter in our lives. We are thankful for the opportunity to see and experience another culture and its people and for safety and friendships while there. We will miss you Japan but we hope to return to visit you again soon!
