Thank you Gates family for the sweet birthday Dora bike gear! She loved it so much that she cried when I took the knee pads off in the high chair (it HAS to be uncomfortable sitting in that thing with straight legs, but apparently that was part of their charm), and the crying became so unbearable that daddy had to initiate a timeout to get over it. Discipline already?! We had it good her first year of life. Now the real parenting kicks in. Thanks Gates.

Too cute!
I am SO glad to have Max keeping his helmet on these days, as he is testing out his "boy" tendancies to climb EVERYTHING and try out cool (scary) new stunts at every park we frequent. Usually we arrive via scuut bike, so he's already got his helmet on. So, glad he doesn't want to take it off... but at the dinner table would be a different story ;)
So glad she liked it and so glad we could be the responsible party for your parenting techniques put to the test! :) It only begins now and we know you two will be such awesome parents that we "will" you our three. :)
